Hi campers!

I have missed you all so much these past few months! I’m currently getting ready to graduate college in the and plan to move back home afterwards! It’s been such a beautiful holiday season, and I am really looking forward to this coming winter season and all the joy that it brings!  This winter, I will be working at Roughing It in the office, and planning to get my  teaching credential. Hope you all are enjoying your time in school and making many cherished memories! Missing you all every day and hope to see you at the Camp-Sing-a-long!

Elianne, K Counselor Session 1

Hello K Camper Friends,

Hope you all are having a great school year and enjoying kindergarten.  I am sure you’ve been learning many new things.  This year has been an exciting new adventure as I have been working  as a first grade teacher and my students remind me of my wonderful campers at Roughing It. During the holidays I love all the sights and sounds of the season in San Francisco.  It’s such a magical time of the year for us.  I hope you all enjoy the holiday season and have lots of fun with your family!

Allie, K Counselor Session 2

Hey Campers,

Hope you all are enjoying the holidays.  I’ve been having great school year at Marquette where I also volunteer in a kindergarten classroom here in Milwaukee this semester. Winter is so much fun here and I love the snow. I am looking forward to coming home for the holidays and back to the nice, comfortable San Francisco weather! Have a happy holiday!

Hi Campers!

After spending an amazing summer with all of you, I’m in New York City! I’ve been attending New York School of Interior Design and having so much fun improving my art and crafty skills. While I’ve been here, it’s already snowed! I miss everyone back home and at Roughing It! I’ll be back home for the holidays and hope to see a lot of you at the Sing-A-Long!

Dear campers,

Things have been going great this past fall at UC Berkeley! My classes have been really interesting and I have been going to a lot of Cal sporting events, especially basketball.  I also have been mentoring youth at a local middle school which occasionally brings back a lot of great summer memories from Camp Roughing It! I am enjoying winter break and  plan on skiing with my friends in Tahoe.  I’m excited to spending quality time with my family and dog. I hope all of you have a great holiday vacation and remember the number one rule: have fun!

Christina, G2 Counselor

Dear Campers,

It’s so hard to believe we’re halfway through the year already! This semester has really been the best yet, and the time has absolutely flown by. I’ve taken some amazing classes, learning everything from how our brains work, to how our muscles move, to how they work together in our everyday lives. I’ve also enjoyed tutoring elementary school students, taking lots of yoga classes, and just exploring the city with my friends. Every time I come back to Vancouver I fall in love with it all over again, but I can’t wait to come home and spend time relaxing with my family over the holidays! I’m definitely looking forward to seeing everyone on the 27th!

Hi Campers and Friends!

I hope everyone is having an amazing school year and is enjoying the holidays! I am very excited for the cold weather and rain, but it will also make me miss camp with all of you. I am currently working full time for Roughing It, and I am having a great time getting everything ready for next summer! During the spring, my plan is to get certified as a Wilderness First Responder. Basically, I will become a master of safety in the outdoors! I can’t wait for next summer, and I hope to see you all back at the Res!

Hey Campers!

Hope you’re all enjoying the Holidays!  This semester has kept me very busy with work, school and my sorority. My school work has kept me very busy but I have enjoyed going to the football games this fall with my friends. I am looking forward to coming home for winter break to spend some time with my family and friends. I miss our warm summer days together making friendship bracelets, singing songs, and so much more! Hope you guys are staying warm this winter season. See you at the Camp Sing-a-Long and Holiday Party!

Pete, B2/3 Counselor

Hey Camper Friends,

I’ve been pretty busy since camp! Two weeks after camp ended I headed off to Europe with my rugby team from school where we played three games in Ireland, Italy, and France. I still haven’t been able to pick my favorite place but I really liked the food in Italy! I’m looking forward to spending winter break relaxing with family and friends for the holidays! I hope everyone is doing well at school and have a happy holiday season!
