Staff Updates: Greg and Captain Matt

Almost all our staff members have gone back to school, while it was sad to say farewell to over sixty amazing counselors we are looking forward to all the new adventures and things they will learn during the school year. While they are away some keep in touch and give us some updates on their whereabouts! Here are some exciting adventures of a few counselors from the summer.

Greg Assistant Program Director – We are excited to announce that Greg is heading off to Guatemala at the end of October! He will be there for three months teaching art and pottery skills to students in Guatemala. In addition to teaching he hopes to improve his Spanish while exploring the beautiful nature in Guatemala. He will certainly be using his outdoor and adventure knowledge that we have learned over the summer!

“Captain” Matt Waterfront Director – Ahoy! Captain Matt has lived up to his name and set sail on a ocean voyage up and down the West Coast! Matt has always loved to sail and is a certified captain! He plans to sail up the west to the Seattle area and then back to the Bay. After that he departs for a 6 month backpacking adventure in Europe, Asia, and Africa!
