The G4 G.F.U.’s making flowers and tiaras with Crafty Claire

This craft can serve as either decorative flowers or flower tiaras to complete a fairy costume. Use your crafty camper skills to make it into whatever you like!

You will need:

  • Pipe cleaners
  • Multi-colored tissue paper
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  • Cut several 3in-wide circles out of tissue paper. Then cut smaller circles out of different colored tissue paper. Layer as many as 3 to 4 circles on top of each other to make a flower.
  • Take your combined layers of tissue, and cut two holes in the center.
  • Pull the pipe cleaner through the two holes, and bunch up the tissue paper to make it into the shape of a flower.
  • To create a flower, pull the tissue paper flower to the middle of the pipe cleaner, then twist the ends of the pipe cleaner together to create a stem. To create a tiara, keep adding tissue paper flowers to the pipe cleaner, and twist another pipe cleaner onto the end of it to add more length as needed. When you’re done adding flowers, twist the two ends of the pipe cleaners to create a circle, and place your new tiara atop your head!
