 When your child or teen enters
the world of Roughing It Day Camp, they will find an atmosphere that is
challenging, exciting, and fun. It's a special place where campers grow as
individuals and learn the skills needed to succeed as adults, where they gain
confidence in themselves by tackling new activities and making new friends, and where much of the
fun comes from surprising themselves (and others)
with their newfound skills and accomplishments.
Our purpose is twofold: to provide a summer
of outdoor fun and adventure, and also to improve
each camper's ability to live and work
with people and the world around us.
To that end, we have designed this section of our website to
help you and your camper know what to expect
at Roughing It this summer. Your cooperation helps us create a camp
community that is safe, fun, and challenging for every camper.
