Lindsey Jones
Office Manager
Lindsey has been working year-round at Roughing It for 8 years. This year, Lindsey transitioned from Registrar to Office Manager, where she oversees the camp office operations and business side. She lives in Concord with her daughters who have come to camp for many years. Her youngest, Amelia will be a CILT this summer and Maddison graduated high school this year. Lindsey is known for her attention to detail, friendly customer service, and distinct English accent on the phone

Reyna Cruz
Family Coordinator
As Family Coordinator, Reyna communicates with our camp families and ensures new camp families have everything they need for their first experience at Roughing It. She works part-time year-round and is returning for her 6th year. Reyna lives in Concord with her husband and family. Her two children will be back at camp this summer, one in the Boys 4th grade and one in the Junior High Girls groups. Many families have met Reyna at the Parent Orientation Webinars or talked with her on the phone this spring and know her friendly personality. Reyna is a positive problem solver and happy to talk with camp parents this summer to make sure camp runs smoothly for them and for all our campers

Jessi Price
Camp Registrar
Jessi joined our year-round Roughing It team in February 2023. She jumped right in during the busy camp enrollment session helping Lindsey get campers registered and ready for camp. She lives in Walnut Creek with her husband and 3 children. Her son will be at camp in the Boys 3rd grade group and he is so excited to spend the summer at Roughing It. In their free time, they love to watch Marvel movies, play at the park, and cheer on the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers!

Chris Fung
Media Support
Pratt Institue- Industrial Design
Chris is joining us for his first summer at Roughing It as our Camp Photographer! He’s currently studying Industrial Design at Pratt Institute and brings a strong background in visual arts, including photography, filmmaking, and graphic design. Just before graduating high school, Chris earned photography awards from both the Bay Area Creative Foundation and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. He has experience leading arts and crafts activities as both a camper and assistant at the Hip Wah Summer Program. Chris is excited to capture all the memorable moments of camp this summer and help share the magic of Roughing It with our camp families!
Nick Walker
Program Support
University of Washington- Construction Management
Nick is joining Roughing It for his first summer as part of our Maintenance team! An Eagle Scout with seven years in Boy Scouts, Nick brings a strong passion for outdoor safety and skills. He’s currently studying Construction Management at the University of Washington and is excited to help ensure a safe, fun, and memorable experience for every camper. Nick looks forward to sharing his knowledge and love of nature with all who come through camp this summer!

Chynah Evans
HR Assistant, 1st Year Staff
Chynah is excited to join Roughing It for her first summer as our HR Assistant! She brings strong experience in HR support, administrative tasks, and customer service. As a Supervisor at the Oakland Ice Center, Chynah helped onboard new employees, coordinated interviews, and supported staff with day-to-day needs. She’s passionate about clear communication, organization, and creating a smooth, supportive experience for both staff and families. Chynah looks forward to growing her HR skills and contributing to a successful summer at camp!

Stella Izakson
Office Assistant, 1st Year Staff
SDSU- International Business
We’re excited to welcome Stella to Roughing It for her first summer as part of our Office Support team! Stella is an International Business major at San Diego State University and brings a background in working with kids through volunteering, babysitting, and event organizing. A lifelong artist and lover of hands-on projects, she’s passionate about sparking imagination and creativity in others. Stella enjoys outdoor adventures and is dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive environment where every camper feels supported. She’s looking forward to helping make this summer unforgettable for everyone at camp!

Anna Henning
Program/WikiActivity, 2nd Year Staff
Anna focuses on developing the summer camp program curriculum to support the counselors. She has been working part-time year-round since January 2024. She graduated from CSUMB with a degree in Environmental Studies. Anna was a 6th grade teacher and has worked at a camp as an Outdoor Education Coordinator. She enjoys trail running, surfing, and camping in her free time.
