Transportation: Day Camp
Roughing It Day offers two transportation services for Day Camp: home and
central pick-up.
Pick-up is between 8:00 - 9:00 am and drop-off is between 3:00 - 4:00 pm
for both services.
Home Pick-up Service
Camper families are offered door-to-door (home pick-up) transportation
service on a "first come first serve" basis, at no additional charge.
Home pick-up is available for most of the areas within the following cities:
- Contra Costa County: Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and South Danville
- Alameda County: Rockridge, Piedmont, Montclair, Crocker Highlands, Central Berkeley
Please note that we cannot guarantee home pick-up for all
locations in these cities, due to time constraints, number of enrolled campers in
the area, and condition and accessibility of the road. Please
call or email our office to find out if home pickup is available
where you live.
Central Pick-up Service
Central pick-up service is from easily accessible pick-up and drop-off
locations
and is
for families who live in areas where door-to-door service is not available.
Cities with central pick-up and drop-off service include:
- Contra Costa County: Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Danville, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek
- Alameda County: Piedmont, Oakland, Berkeley
- San Francisco: Alta Plaza Park, Clayton & Parnassus, French American School
For our camper's safety, we do not publish pickup locations or
addresses on our website. Please call or email us for more information
on which location is most convenient for you. |
