Campers Choose One 2 Hour Specialty Clinic Each Week

 Moraga (English) Riding - Gymkhana Day & Jump Off!
Get western with fun cowboy games like barrel racing, pole bending, single stake, hurry scurry, keyhole, pony express and buddy relays.  Hurry scurry is a fun timed jumping event designed for campers to practice their western riding skills. 

Ranch (Western & Trail) Riding - Briones Trail & Snack Ride
Ride out to the outback of Briones on the Lafayette Ridge Trail.  We’ll take a break for some western style grub and learn to high line your horses.  Learn how the cowboys camped on the range. 

Fishing - Bass Fishing & Hike to West End of Reservoir
Come hike with the Fishing Counselor Kevin to the west end and fish for bass off a new dock.  Learn and practice new techniques for catching small and large mouth bass.  Fisherman Kevin knows the best places for catching these fish and says “The bass fishing on the west end is mind blowing in the reeds".

Kayaking - Stellar Scavenger Hunt! 
Come over the Kayaking side of the Res for our amazing Scavenger Hunt.  Put your wits to the test while you try to solve Waterfront scavenger hunt while you move along, following clues from Waterfront staff.  Here’s the challenge:  Big Fred does not want to be caught!  He jumped up and took our fishing poles and spread them all over the Reservoir.  Please come and help the Waterfront staff follow Big Fred’s clues to recover all our gear!  See you out on the water!

Swim - Sports Day & Water Basketball Tournament
Join the Swim Staff for an action packed games session. There will be inner tube water polo, giant water volleyball, and more.  Teams participate in a round-robin style tournament.  Come work on your shot and wow us with your ally-oops, dunks, and spin moves!  Compete to take home the honor of Water Basketball Champion, to be crowned at the end of the day.

Sports - Ultimate Challenge!
Ultimate Frisbee and Kickball teams are famous for their crazy ideas and creativity.  If you have ever been to a Frisbee tournament, you have seen the outfits, the cheers, and the all around nuttiness.  Now is your chance to put your skills to the test with our Ultimate Frisbee challenge.  You will get a chance to put together the craziest outfit you can, come up with a spirited cheer, and throw, run, catch, and layout for as many Frisbee passes as you can!  It’s your chance to join in the wild world of Ultimate Frisbee. 

Crafts - Leather Stamping and Leather Crafts
A craft fit for a cowboy or cowgirl!  You will create great works of leather art to wear, show, and use.  Learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques to mold leather into fabulous Western wear.  Come join us!

Outdoors & Adventure - Explore the Rim Trail!
This is your chance to get a birds-eye view of the Reservoir and explore a trail seldom seen by Roughing It eyes.  Go on the prowl for some animal tracks and native plants.  Take in the view and learn about the natural world in a different part of camp.  Search for the “Sticky Monkey Plant” (and find out why it has that name) as well as animal tracks, all while testing your strength on a beautiful and exciting hike.
