Kaylee White

Camp Plus Coordinator, 1st Year Staff Member California State University, Chico, Biology

Kaylee is joining us for her first year at Roughing It! She will be our Camp Plus coordinator this summer. She currently attends California State University, Chico and is studying biology with hopes of becoming a physician assistant. Kaylee loves working with kids and being outdoors, and she is excited to be apart of the Roughing It staff!

 

Zachary Hazzaa

Maintenance, 1st Year Staff Member University of California, Irvine, Sociology

Zachary is joining us for his first summer at Roughing It! Zachary was in various summer camps as a child, and has many interests including sports, music, and clothing. He is a team player and ready to help out wherever needed, and we’re happy to have him working on Maintenance this summer!

 

Emil Sadek

Summer Secretary, 1st Year Staff Member University of California, Santa Cruz, Computer Science

Emil is joining us for his first summer at Roughing It! He attends UC Santa Cruz and is majoring in computer science. Emil enjoys programming, graphic design, and website and social media management, and he hopes to one day work in marketing with graphic design or in cyber security. Emil is excited to bring his positive attitude and energy to Roughing It!

 

Aiyana Smith

Media Assistant, 3rd Year Staff Member California State University, Northridge, Communicative Disorders

Aiyana is back for her third summer at Roughing It as media assistant! She currently attends California State University, Northridge, and is majoring in communicative Disorders with an emphasis in Speech Pathology. She plans on continuing to graduate school to receive her masters degree and become a speech therapist. Aiyana has been involved in a club called Big Buddies for four years, where she mentors and tutors underprivileged children. She has served as activities coordinator as well as social media coordinator this past year. She will soon be traveling to Nicaragua with her church to serve the local communities and focus on children in schools. Aiyana hopes to be a positive influence on the campers this year, as well as keep all of the families updated with lots of fun Camper Caboodle posts!
