My First Horse

When I first went to Roughing It Horse camp with my sister Allison, I thought I was going to be with her. But it turned out we were in different groups. I was very nervous even though I was 9. But then they assigned me Doc. When I met Doc I wasn't nervous anymore. He was kind, gentle and had quite a personality! But I didn't care right then I knew that he was my favorite horse. I knew I never wanted to leave this place because of friends, counselors, the fun and most of all Doc. Doc is special to me because when ever I meet him and ride him I feel like my troubles wash away. I miss camp, Doc and friends. I think Roughing It is my favorite camp now because of Doc. THE END!
