Roughing It Little Raccoons: Sample Day

(Note: Schedule varies from day to day and from group to group. All campers participate in each activity at least once each week and all campers participate in swimming 3 times each week. The schedule may also vary to accommodate special events at camp.

8:50am	Arrive at the Lafayette Reservoir
9:00am	Opening Circle (announcements, songs, bus spirit, skits etc)
9:30am	Circle Game (to warm-up and start the day)
9:40am	Group Meeting/Planning (review schedule, apply sunscreen, get water, etc)
9:50am	Snack
10:00am	Full Activity Period (Sports or Rowing or Crafts depending on day of the week)
10:40am	Group Time & Group Activity (hike, fort finding, games, field games, etc)
11:20am	Short Activity Period (Fishing, Outdoors, Nature depending on day)
11:40am	Lunch
11:50am	Quiet Activity (story, quiet games, etc)
12:00pm	To the Pool with the counselor by bus (fun songs, stories with the group)
12:20pm	Change into Swim Suits and MORE sunscreen.
12:40pm	Swim Lessons (American Red Cross)
1:10pm	Free Swim and Fun Pool Games with the Swim Staff
1:20pm	Change back into Camp Clothes and reapply sunscreen
1:30pm	Back to the Reservoir by bus (more bus games, songs and fun)
1:40pm	Quiet Activity (story, songs, drama, fun)
2:00pm	Group Time & Group Activity (less structured activity, bug hunt, games, camper's choice of game)
2:30pm	Closing Circle (announcements, songs, skits, recognitions, etc)
3:00pm	Depart the Reservoir for Drop Off Spots or Stay for CampPlus (after camp program – please note Little Raccoons may sign up for any CampPlus activity except that they may NOT attend Saddle Club)
3:45pm	Thank your parents and tell them all about your GREAT day at camp!
