Post Session
A GREAT Way to End the Summer!
Roughing It conducts several fun programs at the end of the summer when day camp is over and before school begins. The programs are staffed with counselors who have worked at Roughing It during the summer and they offer campers a great finish
to their summer at Roughing It.
MiniCamp
MiniCamp is offered at the Lafayette Reservoir and campers spend the full day engaged in the traditional reservoir based Roughing It activities.
Campers can choose to specialize in one of the reservoir program areas (Waterfront, Crafts, Sports, etc) and there is one choice period each
day where campers can choose to do activities outside their specialty.
Horse MiniCamp
Campers spend full days at one of our riding sites. This is a horse intensive program for campers
who really love riding, the horses, and the barn. Campers have two riding lessons each day, learn to
care for the horses, do barn chores, play games on horseback, and participate in many more horse related
activities. This is a GREAT finale to day camp for the "horse crazy" camper.

Roughing It's Post Session brochure and registration form is now available
online. For the safety of our campers, we do not publish specific
transportation locations for post sessions online. Please contact our camp
office for this information.
