Campers spend all day at the Lafayette Reservoir.  Every day is full of adventure-- fishing for trout and blue gill, exploring the many hiking trails at the Reservoir and learning outdoor living skills. Campers  develop skills in fishing, boating, camping and wilderness survival skills, outdoor cooking, nature exploration, crafts, and games. Daily choice activity periods allow campers to do more of their favorite reservoir activities.

Our expert adult staff supervises the campers at all times.  They ensure that campers have  plenty of time to enjoy all the activities unique to the Lafayette Reservoir, while developing a love of the outdoors and a reverence for life.  Explorers are coed and grouped by multi-grades part of the day and by choice the rest of the day. Our counselors are experienced in outdoor living skills and teach the Explorers in the activity areas,  and  the waterfront staff (lifeguard certified) teach the boating and fishing.
