Horse Day Camp
Roughing It's English Horseback Riding Program
- Two Week Sessions / 9am to 3pm / 3rd to 10th Grades
- Beginning through Advanced Instruction
- 3 Riding Sessions Daily (2 formal lessons)
- Equitation, Jumping, Vaulting & Dressage
- Cross Country Jump Course

Ranch Day Camp
Western Ranch Experience & Western Riding
- Two Week Sessions / 9am to 3pm / 3rd to 10th Grades
- Beginning through Advanced Instruction
- 2 Riding Sessions Daily (1 formal lesson)
- Daily Trail Rides on 6,000 Acres in Briones Park
- Introductory Barrel Racing, Roping & Team Penning
- Complete Ranch Experience: Farm Animals, Horsemanship, Ranch Chores and Cowboy Crafts

Afternoon Horse Day Camp
An Introductory Program for Beginning Riders
- Two Week Sessions / 2:30pm to 5:30pm / 3rd to 10th Grades
- Beginning through Intermediate Instruction
- 1 Riding Lesson Daily
- Pasture Rides & short trail rides
- Additional horsemanship and horse care activities
- Drop-off & Pick-up at our Lafayette Ranch Camp

Roughing It Day Camp
Horseback Riding & All Your Favorite Camp Activities!
- Roughing It's Premier Flagship Program, offering the total outdoor camp experience for your child
- 4 & 8 Week Sessions / 9am to 3pm / Ages 4½ through 16
- Horseback Riding for all campers twice each week for campers in grades 2-10 and once each week for campers in grades K-1
- Older campers in grades 6-10 can sign up for additional 2 hour special riding activity on Fridays
- Additional 5 riding lessons available each week through our CampPlus after camp program, Saddle Club
- Participate in a wide variety of activities: Swimming, Rowing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Fishing, Arts & Crafts, Adventure, Outdoors, Hiking... and, of course, Horseback Riding!
- Transportation throughout East Bay Area & San Francisco
- Door to Door transportation provided in Central Contra Costa, Piedmont, Berkeley and Oakland
