Daily horsemanship activities teach all aspects of horse care and
management. |

Horse Day Camp is our premier program for
horse crazy campers. Campers participate in a wide variety of
horse activities, including 3 daily English riding lessons, mounted games, horsemanship,
vaulting, horse care, barn chores and horse crafts. At the end of
each two week session, campers put on a horse show for family and
friends.
Located at our private riding site in Moraga.

Centralized pick up in Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek, Pleasant
Hill, Danville, Piedmont, Oakland, Berkeley, Alamo, San Ramon, Martinez
and
San Francisco!

Horse Day Camp Activities:
- Three riding periods- Daily! Campers have two formal
lessons and one additional riding activity each day. In lessons, campers
learn and practice English riding disciplines such as equitation, hunt seat,
show jumping and dressage. Additional activities include pasture rides,
jumping on the cross country course and going on mock fox hunts.

Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Program- Campers can earn badges
for completing CHA skill levels.

learn how to care for their horses with activities such as grooming, tacking,
first aid, hoof care, nutrition and anatomy.
- Barn Chores- Daily!-
Campers learn how to care for horses by participating in daily chores- mucking
paddocks, cleaning tack, feeding and barn maintenance.
- Vaulting- Three
times weekly!- Gymnastics on horseback- vaulting is an excellent way for
campers to build confidence and balance.
- Cross Country Course-
Once riders are ready, they have the opportunity to practice jumping on our open
pasture cross country jump course.
