News Editor
The News Editor will work closely with our Directors, Marketing
Director, and Personnel Coordinator to develop and edit news letters
to send to campers, families, and staff.
Specific Duties:
- Edit articles for newsletters
- Write brief articles and stories
- Create email newsletters on Swiftpage and Constant Contact
- Design mailings
- Edit photos
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills
- Familiarity with Word
- An ability and willingness to learn computer programs
for designing and creating newsletters and mailings, such as
Swiftpage, Constant Contact, and Adobe Photoshop
- Although not mandatory, we would like to see someone in
this position with some background in writing or journalism.
For example, experience on a school newspaper is highly
desirable.
