Employment Opportunities at Roughing It

Roughing It offers many opportunities for individuals to join our staff and make a difference in the lives of children. We hire volunteers and seasonal employees to work with our campers, and we offer internships to students interested in earning course credit through their college or university. Most of Roughing It's staff members are college aged and have completed at least their first year of college. We also have some year-round administrative positions available and offer special programs for high school students and graduating high school seniors.

Summer Opportunities for High School Students

Roughing It does not hire high school aged students into paid summer positions. We offer several volunteer and tuition summer programs for high school aged students.  Graduating seniors can apply for one of our few support staff positions.  Learn more:
