Camp Plus Coordinator
The Camp Plus Coordinator manages and organizes Roughing It's after camp program,
Camp Plus. Some campers choose to participate in our Camp Plus program, where they
spend the late afternoon engaged in the camp activity of their choice: horseback riding,
swimming, sports, arts and crafts, fishing, or adventure. The Camp Plus coordinator in
responsible for processing enrollments for this program, ordering supplies, getting
campers to the appropriate Camp Plus activity, and supervising staff and transportation
for the program. This administrator also oversees the enrollment and supply orders for
our before camp program, Breakfast Club. The Camp Plus coordinator spends much of
his/her time in the office, answering phones, completing paperwork, and placing supply
orders on-line. Other duties may also include running errands, completing tasks
assigned by other administrators, and supervising Camp Plus activities and the Camp
Plus staff. The Camp Plus coordinator must have outstanding organizational skills,
excellent communication skills, familiarity with computer operations, and be mature,
personable, and detail oriented. It is recommended that this staff member have previous
experience working in a position with management, organizational and supervisory
responsibilities.

- Must attend Administrative Staff Training & Staff Training

Transportation Coordinator
The Transportation Coordinator supervises the entire transportation program for
Roughing It and is responsible for overseeing the drivers and vehicles. Duties include
planning bus routes, scheduling vehicle maintenance, organizing vehicle/driver records,
and maintaining all pertinent paperwork. The transportation coordinator addresses
parent concerns and questions, maintenance issues, and will be responsible for
addressing all safety concerns pertaining to vehicle function and bus routes
(construction zones, detours, etc.) This administrator should be organized, observant,
responsive, have good communication skills, and must pay good attention to detail.
