Directions to Roughing It Camp Office

From Walnut Creek, Concord, Danville:

1. From Highway 680, follow Highway 24 West
2. Take Central Lafayette exit
3. Make left onto Deer Hill Rd
4. At next intersection, make left onto Oak Hill Rd
5. Roughing It Office is located on the left hand side of Oak Hill Rd before the Safeway entrance

From Berkeley, Oakland:

1. Follow Highway 580 to Highway 24
2. Take Highway 24 through Caldecott Tunnel
3. Take Oak Hill Rd exit
4. Make right onto Oak Hill Rd
5. Roughing It Office is located on the left hand side of Oak Hill Rd before the Safeway entrance

I-80 East to I-580 East Detour Route, Option 1

From 80E (the Bay Bridge), take the West Grand Ave exit, head east on West Grand Ave to Northgate Ave. Go north (left) on Northgate Ave which leads to the 27th Street on-ramp for Hwy 24 or 580E (shown by the green arrows on the map below). Please use extreme caution while driving this detour route as it makes it way through neighborhoods with children playing and going to school.

I-80 East to I-580 East Detour Route, Option 2

From 80E (the Bay Bridge), take I-880 southbound, and then take the Broadway-Alameda exit.  Stay in the off-ramp’s left lane and turn right onto 7th Street.  Continue on 7th Street and then turn left on Castro Street.  Continue on Castro Street to the 12th Street on-ramp to Route 980.

1. Take Highway 24 through Caldecott Tunnel
2. Take Oak Hill Rd exit
3. Make right onto Oak Hill Rd
4. Roughing It Office is located on the left hand side of Oak Hill Rd before the Safeway entrance.
