Summer Camps at the Lafayette Reservoir | Roughing It

Campers get the opportunity to learn about many ranch animals

Chickens and ducks are just a few of the animals campers get to see at Animal Care.

Animal Care

Horses, goats, ducks, chickens, pigs, rabbits, and yearlings (baby horses) are among the animals that campers see at Animal Care. Roughing It's full time animal care instructor helps to acquaint younger campers, Little Raccoons through 1st grade, with the animals. Campers learn the responsibilities that go along with caring for animals, and campers will pet and spend time with them too.

The Ranch Camp rabbits come to the reservoir for a visit

Bunnies are a favorite animal that campers get to learn about... and pet too!
