Afternoon Horse Day Camp
Beginning Riding in Lafayette - Half Day Program - Grades 3rd to 10th
Our Afternoon Horse Day Camp is a two week program designed for the beginner rider going into 3rd grade through 10th who wants to gain more experience and confidence around the horses.
This program teaches campers basic skills needed to graduate to higher levels of riding. Campers are picked up and driven to the riding site at 2:30pm.
They then have one 40 minute riding lesson followed by horsemanship activities, mounted games, or vaulting.
Skills are taught through formal lessons and fun games. The day ends at 5:30pm after campers untack and groom their horses.
